It's that time of year again...

#1 It's that time of year again...

Tony Restell (Top-Consultant.com)

Evening all - and thanks to everyone who's been chipping in and making the forum a more vibrant place of late, really appreciated (the suggestion of a Xmas party has been noted, we're a bit late to organise that this year but I'd love to have a get together at some point in 2013, we'll put our minds to this!...)

Anyway, it's that time of year again where we ask consultants (and those trying to get into consulting) how they've been going about their job search, who they've been impressed by, etc. At the same time we ask all our recruiter contacts in consulting how the hiring market is looking and what hiring they're planning on doing in 2013. Those candidates and recruiters who take part in the survey get first sight of the resulting report.

So when you get a moment please do head over to:

http://events.top-consultant.com/UK/careerconference.aspx?ID=453

Feel free to also hijack this thread with ever more outrageous suggestions of what the Top-Consultant party should involve. Feel free to go to town with your exorbitancy! And of course be detailed and descriptive...

Tony

We should all be throwing shapes while discussing balanced scorecard.

Disco disco disco disco.

Thanks Mars. Was sure Bushy Eyebrow Partner was going to chip in with a far-fetched suggestion, no sign so far ;-)

Have a great weekend

Tony

Bushy been a bit busier than usual lately :-)

I can visualise the Top-Consultant party in my head... can just see how it would go. As we know, consultants are very competitve folk, and getting so many rival clans together could lead to a clash of the titans. LOL I can just see it now. I can just see Mars throwing DCF's shoes over the office by the shoelaces for a bet, and Mr Cool running around the side of the building to see if it made it all the way over.

Just make sure Fowler doesn't see...

It is essential that party invites are issues in ppt

For internal company "parties" only (i.e. other than a TC one) - It is also essential that the party takes place on a Saturday, from 11.00am to 8.00pm. Just enough to wreck one's weekend by filling it with yet more "work time cloaked as social time". Suits required, of course (wouldn't have the same effect if people didn't have to dress up in their work clothes too).
