Hi,

This is my first post on this site. Have been given a marketing project wherein I have to identify a marketing plan for the allotted firm (Capgemini in this case). The requirements are as follows:

5Cs - focus mainly on Industry, Competition and Co. information,

Consumer Decision Making and Consumer Research

Segmentation, Targeting and Positioning

4 Ps

Problems and Challenges

Recommendations for the future

Can someone help me out please? Thanks in advance...

Regards,

SaURaV...

Sure I can help you out; although I suspect that this is not an answer you're going to like.

1) Go to CapGem's website and read all you can about them

2) Try to identify the structure of the markets in which they choose to play, starting with their major competitors (supply side) and the their clients (demand side)

3) Do some analysis using the models you briefly mention plus something as simple as SWOT

4) Work out how they address some of the challenges identified by your analysis

5) Reverse the order of points and write up neatly, then repeat your brief insightful summary at the end. Add appendices with data

Good luck.

EC

They could put some party balloons around the front door of their office and big signs saying "SALE NOW ON".

Plus, free glass of champagne for every new client, and "buy one get one free" on consultancy assignments until the end of the month.

But hurry, it's only while stocks last!

suggest they merge brands with The Body Shop, as it will simplify their market proposition
