Hi
Can someone who has recently been hired by Atos tell me how long after their assessment they got the offer?
|
5 days post assessment centre
I read your previous post - I don't believe it is correct to discuss remuneration package BUT my offer was better than friends who recently joined 'bigger' firms.
Please do read recent posts on this forum - ATOS are not viewed positively
|
Thanks! I just wanted to get an idea of the base salary range and I didn't expect you to share the exact salary figure and benefits but thanks anyways for your kind help. Yes I read the negative comments some people wrote in this forum. So did you change your mind about joining them?

Hi, Your offer with Atos is it withing Business consulting and is it an immediate start?
|
I start within the next 5 weeks, yourself?
|
Both,
Do either of you have any ideas on the travel involved?
I am keen to get out of London and travel anywhere and everywhere... is this possible?
|
Can anybody who has been through the Atos process recently shed some light on details of the assessment centre? My understanding is that it consists of:
1. Case Study (is it market sizing)?
2. Interview (is it generic HR / competency based)?
3. Presentation (time to prepare, topics etc.)?

hi
ive also got an asessment centre and would appreicate any detail anyone can provide.
thansk adg0

The Assessment center I attended was as follows
Interview - Competency based questions
Case Study - which is a role play. I was a Consultant and I had to analyse the case study that was provided.
Presentation - I made a presentation on the case study I analysed
|
Majay - thanks for the response.
When did you attend the assessment centre? How many others were there? What were your initial impressions those that you met, and Atos in general?
Can you provide any more details on the case study? Industry? Client? Length? Structure? etc.

Hi Majay,
Which one of the work stream did you apply for? IT leadership, Operational Leadership or Financial Leadership? and when was the assesment?
Thanks
|
Hi active,
There was 3 others at my assesment centre... I think 4 people per session is pretty common at ATOS.
I met a partner, couple of managers and a couple of senior consultants as well as someone from HR who did the corporate presentation - all seemed really great people especially the partner who actually did my final interview. He was very experienced, ex KPMG, and it was a very laid back session.
Everything was positive from the day.

Hi na1804,
I cannot speak on behalf of majay but I personally applied for the generic consultant role and throughout the entire process did not discuss the specifics you mentioned.
I believe this will come out of the induction process where I would imagine they look at my skills, experience etc etc

All,
Assesment centre guide / help :
1st - HR corporate presentation
2nd - Interview : based on CV, exploring key competencies. Very standard stuff and you should be able to excel at this stage if you know your CV and can articulate answers using relevant workplace examples.
3rd Part 1 - You are given a case study about a business; you will play the role of consultant and are required to produce a high level management summary to a manager who is going to meet the client.
3rd Part 2 - With the above in mind you meet a SME from the firm whom you are to glean more information from before producing your presenation.
3rd Part 3 - Present ( 3 or 4 slides of flipchart ) your findings. Would recommend using STAR and keepings things nice and simple focussing on the key issues. Questions to follow...
4th - Informal interview, why ATOS, why Consulting etc.
The whole morning was a brilliant session; they are genuinely not trying to trip anyone up and it is not a competition - deliberately avoided by not using a group exercise!
Just remember they are looking for you to show off your consulting skills / soft skills... how do you interact with the interviewer, how do you glean more information in the 3rd part (above), what is your presentation style etc.
Enjoy !
