URGENT!

I am trying to start as a freelancer (an ex-big 5/MBA) in Southern France and for my second round negotiations I'd need to figure out what daily fees I should be asking the companies.

Who can give me an indication?

Thanks a lot..!

Marieke

About 500 Euro per day for good/strong PM, including per diem. Make sure you are doing the right thing....my experience of ex so called big 5 is that actual ability and experience of implementing real results is usually lacking, and as a freelancer, you generally need to deliver something tangible and measureable.

I'm currently managing a consulting team in Provence and i am running into prices such as 500 euro man/day for freelancers. serious consulting firms charge between 800 and 1000.

However, Richard is right. make sure you are doing the right move: this is a hell of competitive market and unless you have a specific service with well-indentified added value, you should expect bad weather.
