Career Changers - Guidance

#1 Career Changers - Guidance

Arifa

Hello, I am trying to change careers from Project Management to Management Consultancy. I understand this is a very competitive market, but I would appreciate tips on selling my experience to key target audience. The responses I am getting to date are - Not a recent graduate, no previous management consulting experience. How can make into the industry?

I am a qualified electrical/ electronic design engineer who is on the verge of finishing an MBA in general management, can you give me some advise on crossing over into consultancy and the consultancy companies I can contact in the UK.

Since one month I'm working for Arthur D. Little now (without any experience) and I think they are the only ones that also recruit experienced (>5y) professionals.
