I have become increasingly frustrated by asking individuals at agencies on how I prepare my skillset to move across from my exisitng role as a Business Dev. Manager in a Professional Services Firm across to consultancy (marketing/ bus. dev./ change behaviour). Most reply saying that they do not have such a service and, in my view, focus primarily on the next job they can fill. Can someone spare some time to discuss? I would happily send my CV if required and discuss my goals in further detail...

Unfortunately most agencies aim to build cv databases and are not prepared to offer help and advice unless an immediate placement fee is in the offing. I on the other hand manage a Search firm that although speciliases in the recruitment of Senior Change Consultants, am in a position to offer help and advice in terms of a potential move.
