I just wanted to expand a below post that I dont think has been fully answered or understood:

How do companies in the US see degree's achieved in the UK?

En par, over, or below par

( and i obviously dont mean comparing MIT with Staines Community College..)

Stanford Guy to paul (#1)

Although I come from an engineering background extensive discussions with my peers reveal the following:

-Technical degrees from UK universities especially Oxbridge and Imperial College are concidered equivalent to Ivy League.

-On the other hand MBA's drom UK universities are seen sceptically but university names such as Oxbridge,LSE and Imperial College may make up for it. (of course excpetion to the above is the LBS)
