Peachtree

Hi there,

anybody with experience in private equity or equity reserach sector? I need some advice.

My profile: PhD Chemical Engineering (top-tier uni), 5 y experience in a chemical blue chip company in Operations (Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Development Team Leader and Technical Marketing/customer support, with people and budget responsabilities)+ 1 y in Corporate Development in the same firm. Company valuation (small caps & privately owned companies) and strategy reviews for the existing divisions are the core takes of my current role. I have almost completed a part-time MBA (with major in Finance) at a reputable (but second-tier, so not top 20) BS. With very good knowledge and experience of the sector sector, will a transition into PE or equity reserach be difficult? Due to my career track I am not the youngest on the market (above 30 y old) but can offer in-depth understanding of the sector with both operational and business experience.

Any advise to help me in this career switch is really appreciated. Thanks!
