Ernst and Young - Project Execution Services

#1 Ernst and Young - Project Execution Services

I've been approached about a Change Manager role for Ernst and Young's PES division which by all accounts is an internal consultancy. I've been advised it has minimal travel which is a huge perk.

I'd like to hear from anyone who has worked for this E&Y division (or knows someone who has) to better understand:

- the culture (is it an up or out culture even though it's internal?)

- general feedback of the practice/their work

- feedback on the broader E&Y organisation

- views as to whether this would be a good move as a Manager at a big 4 consultancy.

Many thanks

I love the Big 4's ability to come up with crap names for divisions.

Project Execution Services must rate fairly highly in this respect... is the role to kill off all internal projects? :-)

it's an internal consulting function. They do a range of projects that you would expect a normal consultancy to do, but they are to improve EY.

GEPRE to top_change_consulting (#6)

Hi,

Not sure what is like but it is definitely an internal division which concentrates in improving operations within E&Y. They seem that they are trying to get their house in order as they have different systems and processes across the globe.

I was approached late last year and had two meetings but i have not heard back yet. Have you received feedback on your meetings or made an offer and are you considering it?

Salary is lower that it would have been the case if you were working for external clients and had to travel but as you say not travelling so much is a perk. It is for me too.

The people i met seemed nice and friendly and where ex Accenture and Deloite so i assume that they are looking for people of the same calibre.

I hope this helps.
