Making a career move

#1 Making a career move

Daims

Hello. I currently have 5 years work experience working for the FCO and DTI, the last three of which was as a manager of an internet division for the North American offices of the FCO (I was based in New York). In the last year I took an MSc from a top London University in Computer Administration, Management and Design. I am now looking to move into IT consultancy, ideally e-government, but seem to have timed all of this to less than perfection given the current climate. I also chose not to apply to graduate positions due to my experience. My questions is this. Are there any consultancies that are currently actively recruiting for e-government projects? Any advice that anyone can give me on making a career move into consultancy at this time would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
